About Rei

Dr. Rei Samsami has 3+ years of 黑料社 in working with Departments of Transportation (DOTs) as a Graduate Research Assistant. Her research is positioned at the intersection of Automated Construction Inspection, Construction Information Modeling, and Data-Driven Decision-Making for project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

In parallel with her research, she has been the instructor of two courses of 鈥淐omputer Applications in Civil and Environmental Engineering鈥 and 鈥淔undamentals of Construction Engineering鈥 at Michigan Tech (2020鈥2021). These courses were both well received and evaluated by her students and the CEGE department. She has received the department鈥檚 鈥淓xcellence in Teaching Award鈥 for the courses she has taught at MTU.
